Tights Run Through My Mind
There's a sale on Lauren by Ralph Lauren tights right now at Bloomies. I like the Microfiber Argyle Tights. Something about argyle just seems to be appropriate for a librarian. *wink* Sale runs (not the hosiery!) through January 2nd.
PS Does anyone find the notion of Spanx hose a little odd? I mean they began as just the tops of pantyhose, and now they've added legs again, WTF.

It's Like Christmas!
It's like Christmas up in here!
This is how I do the stocking hanging -- but I do that several times a week. *wink*
I'll try to make it a bit more holiday-esque...
The stockings were hung in the bathroom with care
With hopes that they wouldn't need too much repair...
Because momma's saved all her pennies for shoes! (What a surprise, right?)
It's not that I dislike my stockings (you know that's not true!), but I've been waiting all season for the sale on shoes at Macy's!
It's time to make sure I'm well shod for parties this season (all my work parties happen after the new year) and for the rest of the winter season... Maybe a few sandals for spring. Well, some shoes don't really have a "season" do the? Sexy is sexy no matter what the time of year.
And I'm taking advantage of the sale to get me all the sexy shoes a shy but still oh so sexy librarian can afford. (Shoes are me at my exhibitionistic finest!)
I wait all year for this sale. (Why wait on Santa when a girl can make her own dreams come true? Plus, I think I'm on his naughty list lol What do you think? Am I too naughty for the gift of shoes?)

Sorry, Dior, No Sale
I don't know about you, but when shoes cost $576 -- on sale, yet, I don't expect them to look like the leather was cut with pinking sheers. That's too kitschy for such pricey shoes. Plus, the saw-edge-points do not look at all comfortable for this girl who spends so much time on her feet.

The Dilema Of Free Shoes -- Or, Free Shoes, Anyone?

Tied Up In Bondage Hosiery Thoughts
A Slip Of A Girl shows us Bondage Tights, which reminded me of the Oroblu Mode Judith Black Hold-Ups... Like ASOAG, I too wondered about hosiery knit "around" the leg. Will they stay in place? I'm skeptical, especially with a stay-up stocking style (I love my garters and do not trust silicone strips enough to really like them). I'm pretty sure the Wolford tights predate the Oroblu (these bondage tights were part of Wolford's last Fall-Winter collection), so I wonder if Oroblu copied the look in a stocking... And I also wonder if Wolford passed on making "bondage stockings" simply because fall/winter 'tis the season for more practical tights?

Fleet Of Foot; Faint Of Heart (Or, OMG I Need These!)
What's shiny and red, has angel wings, and leaves you feeling like a tall Lolita? These platform sandals!
I found the pic in a forum, and I searched the site's name on the image, Japanese Streets; no luck.
Jacco Fashion has these Patent X Strap With Angel Wing Decorated Ankle Strap Wedge Sandal -- and along with red, there's black and pink! I need them all!
...But something about that site makes me wary...
Primarily, it's the fact that this image (below) is, as you can just make out in the dark image with text, from Nitrolicious...
You'd think a maker or retailer would have their own images or better images. They should.
