Well, you can still admire these lovely black & white vintage shoes.
Ah, these D&G Hibiscus patent peep-toe slingbacks (found via Shop It To Me Sale Mail Alert) have quilted insides which remind me of jewelry boxes... Little luxuries which cradle and display perfect jewels... *dreamy sighs*
When thigh-high boots were for hookers, strippers & other provocative women? I do. But now, eh, not-so-much. I've long worn black thigh-high leather boots like intimate secrets, hiding beneath long skirts... I've enjoyed it immensely. And I'm not sure I will ever want to proudly display them. Shy girl or no, I like having a few secrets -- that I may choose to share *wink* (Jimmy Choo black leather thigh-high boots; sale found via Shop It To Me.)
Now we'll see lots less strappy shoes and pumps with white ankle socks -- in public anyway. *sigh* Parting is such sweet sorrow... (Image via.)
I'm working overtime this weekend; one of the perks of being a poor college student with lusty appetites for shoes, books, and lingerie. *wink* So while the rest of you in the US enjoy your day off, I'm just hoping for a long enough break at the bookstore today to do this. (Image via Hate Handles.)
My mind is blown... You'll have to get the full story from StyleBubble.
Wearing such light colored shoes with black stockings is a serious fashion faux pas; but the high contrast of the white or light straps criss-crossing over the dark nylon is incredibly sexy. A look best saved for nights in, where catty jealous girls won't label you a "fashion don't."

Dutch sculptor Mario Philippona's "Sexy Furniture" series is created via life-sized drawings and assembled from pre-cut layers of wood, so that they're anatomically correct. According to his website statement, "This way he can reproduce the most perfect female forms. This perfectionism he recognizes in the way women use fashion, high heels, fitness and plastic surgery to portray themselves. The female images in for example Playboy are precisely composed and manipulated in PhotoShop."
Then how many words is a motion picture worth? Hell, I'm not studying math... In my opinion, this still of Barbara Stanwyck (as Sugarpuss) presenting her foot in Ball of Fire is pure poetry!
